Whats Is EFS

The EFS refers to a folder called EFS which can store information like meid, imei, serial number, config, diag settings and radio settings, etc in an encrypted format at the file system level stores. So it is very neccessary for us to backup EFS before flashing ROMs.

Whats Is QCN

QCN file is a QPST Content. QPST (Qualcomm PST) is a Qualcomm copyrighted program. It is an in-house cellphone manufacurer utility program that is used to edit many of the cell phone features that are not editable in any other way.

 

Why use EFS file: 

If your phone face no network and Baseband unknown then just restore EFS file using UMT,QPST,Miracle etc that support EFS restore. For restore EFS open EDL port

After restore EFS file if imei 0000/0 then you have to restore QCN file for network. For restore QCN Open Diag Port...
